    Vila Nova da Foz Côa - Quinta da Sequeira is launching Clarete 2023, a red wine that is fermented in a similar way to white wine and designed to appeal to to the taste of younger consumers. The edition is limited to 3200 bottles. The wine estate in the Douro region exports roughly a third of its wines.

    Dublin/Faro - The Irish company WElink aims to invest up to €420 Million to bring wind and battery storage to the biggest solar power plant in Portugal. The Ricardo Totta plant in the Algarve region would generate more than 500 megawatts of electricity, or more than double the output today, and add 80 megawatts of storage, by 2030.
